evening light

Suddenly we have normal temperatures. Not warm, but bearable (that's only 18°c, sad to say).

This coincided with it being a work day (naturally) and a busy one for me (naturally).

It would have been nice to just award myself a day off (one of the few benefits of being self employed) but I'm on the 11:47 to Newcastle tomorrow and not back until Wednesday night.

The prospect of spending all day in a meeting on Wednesday followed by 2+ hours on a train isn't too exciting. Maybe it could rain all day?

Since it was so nice this evening I went over to the harbour for some fresh air. It's very breezy out of the southwest. Lots of good sea air on offer, and a strong smell of seaweed.
