Annual Wasp Day

Every year without fail we have a wasps' nest somewhere under the eaves or roof tiles.  I hate to kill wildlife but having a wasps' nest right under the back doorway is too close for good neighbourly relations.  This blip is of a wasp on the Eryngium agavifolium (where it fed peacefully alongside honey bees, bumble bees, hoverflies) and the extra (taken from inside the back door) is of the 'wasp man' who came to spray the nest.
