Over the hills

It was a lovely sunny morning so after a very tasty full Scottish Breakfast we headed for a trip round the hills and the Dava Moor The heather was starting to come out and looked very pretty. We went to see Lochindorb castle, A Castle in the middle of the Loch on a man made Island.
We picked up some lunch and sat by the River Spey to eat it. I t was lovely, the lupins were out, several butterflies flying about. A heron sat fishing opposite and a Grey wagtail was teaching it's young to hunt for flies.
In the afternoon we returned to the festival and squelched through the mud, I pretended it was liquid chocolate. We managed to find a very small patch of grass where we sat on the chairs we took with us to eat a hog roast roll and enjoyed the sunshine while listening to the music. A few showers but not like yesterday. Later we watched Lianne  La Havas, The Maccabees, Primal Scream and Mumford and sons. All amazing and a fab evening :)
