Tiny Tuesday - Fungus

Whilst clearing the grass prior to mowing this morning I came across this little fungus - happily sunning itself! A little bit of 'gardening' was required so that I could get the camera close enough to get a decent shot - it was very tiny!

Hard work cutting today as it has been so wet recently and the grass had grown quite long...two passes needed so that the mower wasn't overloaded.

Very windy today and whilst we were out I found a load of sycamore seeds that had been blown to the ground  - so I brought a pair home and have photographed them on my iPad 'lightbox' so that the light shines through them revealing the wing structures.
