The British Seaside In August (Monday 3rd, 2015)

I detoured on my journey to East Sussex because I wanted to see the sea. It proved a costly detour as it took three and a half hours driving time to get there (plus a one hour lunch break in Petersfield), and over two and a half hours to complete the rest of my journey, 45 minutes longer than predicted by my normally accurate Tom Tom, mostly spent crawling along the A27.

I only spent fifteen minutes on the Bognor Regis Promenade as it was grey, breezy and raining.
