Miserable...

... weather at the moment. I'm sure it's colder and wetter than recent winters. I always wonder what animals really think of bad weather; do they complain about it to each other or do they really not care if they are wet or dry? This pair of king parrots did look a bit miserable, I thought.

We went to an open rehearsal of the MSO this morning, with Vasily Petrenko conducting. (I'm sure my parents time their trips back to the UK to fit in with his concerts at the Liverpool Phil...). It's the first time I have seen him conduct, and apart from being the most attractive conductor you're ever likely to see, he is likely the best too.
