Great Fun on the Splashboat!

The 1929 Wicksteed splash boat, a wooden forerunner to today’s fairground white knuckle rides, is one of only two surviving examples in the country.
I remember going on it in 1949! 
And I might add enjoying it enormously.
If the queue hadn't been so long  would have had another go today!
(And I spent half an hour trying to get these shots it's quite difficult believe it or not!)
This is in Hull's East Park (East Yorkshire)
