Not So Common Now

Didn't feel too great yesterday, so I didn't get round to blipping, but here it is now:-)

This is a Common Garden Tiger Moth having a rest on our path and it's the first time I've ever seen one.  It's not so common now as it was, as its numbers have been reduced by about 90% in recent years, so I was very pleased to see it.

Presumably this is the insect that the aircraft was named after?
