Holy Monastery of St Nicholas of the Cats

This really is a place to visit in Cyprus and we eagerly went full of anticipation as to what we would find.

A bizarre experience, not least that quite unlike the rest of Cyprus we felt most unwelcome! Not only was the "delightful small chapel" locked up but there were 'No Entry' signs everywhere. We made friends with the several, poorly and thin cats until two shuffling black clad bent over nuns (looking exactly like those from 'The Life of Brian'), asked us if we were 'done yet' as they wanted to close.

We abandoned - looking behind us, and half waiting for the candid camera man to appear.

He didn't.
