Journey Through Time

Count the Rings!

You do it, because I don't think I have the patience, but the trees that were cut down over at the school were pretty big, once we saw the remains.  Some are surely well over 100 years old. There is still a lot of clean up work to be done there, and there are piles of scrap limbs that people are cutting up for their own fireplaces, outdoor fire pits and/or wood to take on camping trips.  The word got out that anybody could do that, so that's a good thing for those that need the wood.

I went to the doc today to have them look at a mole, which was okay...just something common from sun damage.  Then I asked about my shoulder, which I hurt about 9 months ago, I guess.  I thought it was a muscle injury, so I asked the dr. why it was so slow in healing.  He did some range of motion things and he thinks what I actually did was get a tear in the muscle around my rotator cuff and since I didn't seek medical attention when I should have, it might be too late to do anything about it now.  Well, crud!  I know two people who have had that surgery, but it never entered my mind that that was what I had also.  Duhhhhhh.  My bad.  I might see a specialist.  I have to think on that.

Anyway....that's all for now.
