Windermere

Today's the day .......................... for an evening cruise

It's Will's birthday today - and my present to him was to take him off on a cruise round Lake Windermere.

This meant that I got to go too, of course - and as well as being able to see some of the Lake District's iconic scenery, we ate supper and were entertained by the Jazz Band - Trickle Charge.  So that also gave Will the opportunity to do a bit of water-colour painting (see below).

So, all in all, as birthday presents go, I think I have managed to tick quite a few boxes ...........................
