Bumbling About

Workmanlike bees and all things Mancunian have been synonymous since the industrial revolution, but for the red half of Manchester at least, hard graft should never be at the expense of the search for a more beautiful game.

As such, I was not entirely convinced that the start of the Premiership season got off to a perfect start, even with a one-nil win over Tottenham. Our just assembled new team bumbled around industriously enough but lacked a spark of creativity.

Still, happy to give my team the benefit of the doubt, and at least the early Saturday kick off on TV on BT Sport at least postponed my required gardening duties for a while. But not for long.
