New boy Memphis might have been walking with his feet ten feet off the pitch today against Newcastle, but sadly Elvis was not in the building and so there was no repeat of his brace for Man United against Brugges from Tuesday.

I did have a windfall ticket (free) to Old Trafford though, and for the first time ever found myself in row AA, right on the very front row, and only just behind the hoardings and the behind goal press photographers.

Great to have such a close-up view, and a free one to boot, but not a scintillating game at 0:0. Hey, beggars can't be choosers.
