But, then again . . . . .

Ashes and Blood.

We were in town to buy a mattress, didn't get one but we may be nearly there. The model that we selected needs to "breath" apparently - so I'll have to replace the solid base with slats; there is a six week window of opportunity to make the modifications, starting from the day we place and pay for the order.

We took a minor diversion up The Royal Mile for some blips, though I couldn't spend as much time as much time as I would have liked. The place was crowded, there must be some sort of festival going on. We saw two girls, like this one, advertising some form of musical entertainment called "Ashes and Blood" although they did seem to be easily distracted. Meanwhile, the near-by gentleman in the 'extra' seemed to be quite pee-ed off with the whole business; we never did find out what his purpose in life was.

An ice-cream kiosk that held a certain attraction for us but there appeared to be no one manning it; a few people were helping themselves to bottles from the fridge and leaving money on the counter but I felt it was going a bit to far to dispense a couple of ice-cream cones - I couldn't see a price for them anyway.

I've just posted yesterday's, "Lagonda."
