The utility workers, some of whom I featured a little while ago, are back on my street. 

David is the guy who's up in the bucket at the top of the pole, connecting and disconnecting various wires. He puts on protective gear, similar to what an X-ray technician might wear, and lines the side of his bucket facing the wires with more of the same. His tools are padded and oversized -- clamps, tongs and various implements that he wields adeptly. It's an interesting dance to observe :)
