Rub a dub dub

She slept! until 8 am!  a few interruptions,  a few grumbles and cries, but none of the continual hollering of previous days... it could be a fluke.. we will wait and see, but we're still pleased...

However little un totally refused to change clothes this morning or to get clean... so I suggested to Dave that I would take a bath and that he should join me in the bathroom to play with some toys... the twinkle in his eye soon disappeared when he realised I was talking about boats and watering cans, and a bit of psychology... it worked to some extent as little un started splashing toys with us, but wouldn't get in...  later in the day, when I was in the kitchen, Dave managed to get her paddling in the bath,  (still clothed) she then got enthusiastic and started putting soap in her hair... so at this point there was nothing that we could do other than rinse it... that didn't go down well and she ended up with accidentally clean hair and soggy clothes, which she still didn't want to relinquish...  I don't know if today's bath time experiences have done more harm or good, but she smells better...

I have however come up with an idea for an invention. Shrink wrap toddler clothes.  Something without fiddly arm or head holes, that can be put around them without being noticed,  and then can quickly have the air vacuumed out so that the whole outfit shrinks to fit...
