Knitted square

Good day at hospital. All seem happy with how Neave's progressing, she's being weaned off the morphine so she can come off the ventilator tomorrow. There's talk of starting feeds next week and after a slow start, I seem to be able to express a bit more today.

Today's pic is a knitted square. I have one and so does Neave. We both keep them close to our bodies and swap at the end of the day so we can smell each other. It's all part of the bonding process. How lovely is that?
