A Day Worth Recording

William the Returner

Part of the fortnight of works a little while back included glaziers removing and taking away a couple of deteriorating stained glass windows.

The rebuilt windows returned today, now as standalone panels to be hung in the dining and lounge windows.

When we bought the house we knew there were two of these, under perspex in the library window.  It wasn't until much later that we discovered a third window, in far worse condition languishing in the basement; practically unrecognisable.  The extra photo is that one following restoration.

I now note that I blipped the 'Richard' panel previously, so it doesn't exactly work as a before-and-after shot!
