At the beach

Rabbit Island which lies between Mapua and Nelson. It goes for miles. Blipmate and I called there on the way to Nelson which was just as well as it set in to rain later in the day.
Overcast and calm there were two seagulls, and about six people. Always something around though. This ice plant is draped over an uprooted trees roots and looked like a hermits den.
