Suckler Herd

The poor livestock are so short of grass this summer through lack of rain.  The grass in this field is full of tough stalks, not the sort of thing the cows like to eat.  We have started feeding winter hay to some of the animals and will sell a number of store cattle to reduce numbers out in the fields.
