Centaury

Awoke to beautiful weather today so after a leisurely morning and a vist to Tobermory we walked from the cottage through a beautiful wildflower meadow to Haunn on the coastline near Treshnish. The sweet smell of the flowers and grasses in the Coronation Meadow was beautiful.

We spotted orchids, wild thyme cascading over the rocks , harebells and vetches amongst many others. I had never seen this flower before - centaury which is apparently more common in England than Scotland!
Extra photos including the headland view from Treshnish as the weather was fab!
