Colour on a Grey Day

I started in Manchester today. The building I arrive at had a flooded basement, collapsed ceiling, and IT blackout. But our meeting continued on regardless.

Leaving I heard the Mancunian Way had closed due to a sinkhole opening up, and the Trams were at a standstill.

Half the months rainfall in one day - it has been wet.

I finished the day at the Quays. Took lots of pictures of grey skies. Quite interesting. But then I heard a distant scouse voice - a Mersey Ferry waiting at Mode Wheel locks. One bridge swung open, another rose, and Snowdrop - this very colourful Dazzle Ship - arrived from Liverpool carrying cheery and well wrapped up passengers
