Oxburgh Hall

We had planned a walk today but because of the thunderstorms during the night and everywhere being sopping wet, we decided to visit Oxburgh Hall, a National Trust Property in Norfolk instead.

Oxburgh Hall is a medieval moated country house in Oxborough, Norfolk.
Built by Sir Edmund Bedingfield in 1482 it remains inhabited by the Bedingfield family to this day.   In the hall are the Oxburgh Hangings - a set of needlework hangings sewn by Mary Queen of Scots and Bess of Hardwick.
