Pintar Rapido

Today was the day hundreds of artists descended on Glasgow for this event.   They have to start and finish a painting in one day on the streets of Glasgow to be eligible for a cash prize. 

Similar events were held in London and Amsterdam.

Tomorrow at the Royal Concert Hall the public will have a chance to view them all and maybe purchase them.

In the short time I was in the City I found around 8 of the artists.   The main one here was on Buchanan Street and the other one - not sure what he was painting  -  was on Queen Street.   The statue of Wellington with the cone on his head was proving to be a popular subject.
