Pulse

It's the Leith Jazz and Blues Festival this weekend. They couldn't have had more horrible weather; most of the gigs are inside pubs, but this brave troupe of samba drummers are too young to enter licenced premises, by the looks of them.

They're called Pulse of the Place, a local youth band, and made a very cheering racket standing outside one of our local bars. Enough to make me venture into the horizontal rain to see if there was a blip to be had...
