Potentilla

We have a couple of these shrubs mixed in with some hedge roses. They are great for Kansas because they require almost no care and withstand the heat very well. The parks use them a lot especially in out of the way places that would be difficult to maintain.
The sky this morning looked as though we were going to get a great dawn. We did but it was rather monochromatic , so I did not get anything very interesting. However, I did notice the grass , a foxtail, that looked quite blue in the dawn light. The extra shows this shot, just as it was when I downloaded it. No enhancement or any tampering!!

Today has been a pleasant day with a little breeze that is very welcome.
