Autumn Harbinger

 
I’m intrigued by my mind's trick involving noticing things once a new idea is in my head.
The thought of August progressing towards September seems to have made a pumpkin appear alongside my well worn bike path.
This pumpkin is nearly three feet (1 meter) in diameter, yet was invisible before today.
A most enjoyable long ride today on “Le Peugeot Redux” bicycle.

My 1980 Peugeot has now been officially shaken down, tuned up, and race prepared for the “Cycle the Lakes” century ride at Cottage Grove, Oregon on September 19th.
