Need cake!!

Went out with the CTC group this morning. Almost didn't as it was so windy! The ride leader - MR PB has a reputation of taking the group to Thrapston on windy days, and after some discussion at the start his arm was twisted to change his planned route and go to Thrapston. Oh boy it was a windy ride there. For the 2 of us that had not been before we were promised fantastic cakes when we would eventually get there. After a hard slog a pot of tea and delicious cake was very welcome - and deserved! And to top it served on my favourite - Cornish blue kitchenware crockery.

Needless to say that if it was a hard ride there it was a very easy ride home. Took half the time and nothing better than zooming along being wind assisted. Lovely ride and great company as always.
