Brimstone

A wonderful hot afternoon!
I went to Howe Ridding to do the butterfly survey and this time it was worth the walk.
We saw a good variety of butterflies, peacock, red admiral and comma were all newly emerged and very smart.
Plenty of those excellent thistles in flower for them to nectar on, and so I managed to get a photo.
