A view from Jeanneb

And then there was one!

At the end of last month four of us met up for a day in Ilkley when we spotted these 'garden sheds' in the beer garden of a pub there. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2073119447370957527
This prompted us to arrange to visit another pub where we'd heard there were similar small huts to eat out in in my town of Bingley.

The plan was to meet for coffee, have a walk and then lunch.
But what started out as four ended up as two. Just Myself and Dot.
In the picture Dot is selecting one of the very colourful sheds to eat in. Prior to this we had walked up past the Three Rise and Five Rise Locks to the little canal side cafe for coffee.

Returning we had to head to the pub due to ridiculous parking restrictions of 3 hours only in the towns car parks. Still we had a nice lunch and a good chat but it was raining when we came out so we called it a day.

The weather forecast was for poorer weather in the east so suddenly we are in the east! (Actually they have just apologised on the weather forecast for getting it wrong by about 50 miles!) Tomorrow it is supposed to be worse in the west, no doubt we will discover we are in the west!

Weather and parking restrictions or no it was fun to spend time with a good friend.
