Honoring Fathers day

On this third sunday of june - fathers day - I would like to share a message I read on Facebook today:

Wouldn't it be wonderful to let your father come back from heaven... spend just one more day with him... one last time, one more intense hug... shake hands... hear his voice one more time... say goodbye.... and one more opportunity to tell him how glad you are to see him again.

I took my mother along to his grave as we do a few times a year on memorable occasions. We tidy up the grave, water the plants and silently recollect memories we miss for far to many years.
