Lesley at the Marcliffe

Headed to the Marcliffe to hear from Lesley Riddoch. Sitting amidst over 200 people, we listened to her views on Scotland then, Scotland now, and the Scotland that could be. You got the impression she could have gone into engaging detail on any one topic and not lose her audience but she granted us snapshots of many which was great for whetting the appetite (And led me to grabbing a complimentary Marcliffe Apple on the way out).

She said many things that struck a chord. Bonus was seeing Jackie and hearing her news, and taking mum with me, less so bonus was the second song at the end of the night, not that it was bad, the guy was great as was his first song, it was just it was a long night, and we were tired, and needed home, especially mum!
