The kids are alright!

I photobombed the traditional back to school photo. Dave rightly told me to get out of the way and took a fool free one for posterity.

A day of full on rain, to make everybody's commute to school and work just tickety boo. Dave and the kids encountered a freshly upturned car outside Newmachar on route. Ticketyboo x 2.

So, the news at the end of the day is, Tess and Meldrum Academy got on just fine in day 1 of S2. Lots of news and stories about people, teachers, classes and experiences. Bodes really well for day 2. Well done young lady, and to all the young ladies and gents making a new start today.

Sam got on just fine on day 1 of S3. And I think he secretly likes his little sister appearing on the scene.

My day just rolled from one meeting and exchange to another, absorbing more information after more information after more, with moments breaks inbetween encountering occassional blip after occassional blip, but it kept me out of mischief. And Dave seemed to arrive home with a smile.

All home now, safe, warm and dry inside our house, with comatose furballs.....being solar powered (Dave says), the furballs have pretty much not moved from the choicest soft furnishings in the house today.
