Gubblecote

Went on a foray to Buckinghamshire today to collect a large estate car-load of donated items for the Beaulieu Autojumble charity stand I'm organising. On the way back, just over the border into Hertfordshire, I stopped just outside the wonderfully-named village of Gubblecote to stand on a little humpback bridge and take in the view of the countryside around the Grand Union Canal.

A barge was just working its way through a lock, and I loved the timeless beauty of the scene. So here it is as today's blip.
