Flower Friday 21 Japanese Anemone

Today started cloudy and dull and failed to fulfil the promise of sunshine until late in the afternoon.  I waited as long as I could, before going out to the hairdresser, in the hope of getting good light on my flower blip from our garden today. it was hard to choose between the Echinacea (coneflower), Hydrangea paniculata or Japanese Anemone.  As you see, the anemone won largely because I've already blipped a coneflower and the hydrangea will be around for another few weeks.   I've no idea of the name of this particular pink variety:  if you know please do tell!

Thank you once again to Biker bear for hosting this popular challenge.
