Pebble painting

We decided to give pebble painting a go - inspired by elizabethann's lovely blips. We could do with more practise (and a load more talent) and as we had to share one paintbrush between three of us it was slow progress. We have a load of brushes in the house somewhere which I am sure I will find when we don't need them. It was fun though, despite the rubbish results.

We took a quick trip to Kentisbeare to find the church where I am ringing on Saturday. The bride opted to move to that church after one look at our scaffold encased church - don't blame her! We met the noisiest donkey ever in a field next to the church - he had loads to say for himself and all at top volume . It was hard to work out if he was bad tempered or just lonely and in need of a friendly chat!

We also headed to the driving range so Leo could get in some practice ahead of Saturday's tournament. He got some cracking shots in, I was as rubbish as ever, and mum also showed off some impressive hitting.

And that is the end of my half days for the summer now. Am going to have to adjust to doing a full day's work again! Ian is off all next week with Leo so I bet yet more golf and plenty of Playstation action features heavily!
