Thatched

A tradionally thatched field barn, somewhere not too far from Albac, Romania.

A group of us are here on an Erasmus+ funded trip to learn about traditional lime burning in the Apuseni mountains of Romania.  The first two days are acclimatisation and tourism - we also visited a wooden church in Vidra-Goiesti. It has a splendid painted interior which sadly has been extensively damaged by leakage.
