Lavender umbrella...

Was woken this morning, just after seven, by torrential rain. Since then it has rained, and rained, and then rained a bit more! The rain did eventually dry up around half two, but then throughout the afternoon we had torrential showers, though sadly without any thunder.... (I do love a good thunder storm!!)

This brave little Ladybird was doing her best to use a sprig of Lavender to shelter from the deluge, but if you look closely you'll see that some teeny weeny raindrops made it through to her. She survived the morning rain but since the torrential downpours she has disappeared. I hope she has flown away home rather than been washed away...
