The Sea-Cave near Smitingen

This is a great walk from the glorious beach at Smitingen on the island of Härnön.  It’s about 3,5 km through the woods, over the hill and down the cliffs to this classic keyhole cave in the granite bedrock.
As a walk it’s got everything. Forest, bare rocks, short scrambling sections and even a wooden ladder on one section as you drop back down to sea-level, and there is the cave as the goal. Not hard but pleasantly adventurous,
It’s not a deep cave, I’m standing a couple of meters from the back wall as I take this picture.
Sometimes it is hard to get into the cave with dry feet but the sea-level is low at the moment because of the same high pressure that gives us this wonderful weather. Today it was a walk-in cave!
Finished of with a paddle in the sea. It was too cold for me to swim but the hardier JanHar took a dip.
PS - I've just seen that JanHar has also blipped the cave, but from outside, just around the corner. I'm just emerging from the cave in her blip.
