Mono Monday: Balance

Have been pushed for time all day and even after work I only had a ten minute window to get a quick shot before we had guests so I rushed over to the lake.

The light was gone and although the ibis were all coming in for the night I didn't get many usable shots.

This bird was sitting balanced at the top of the highest tree and other birds were trying to hit that spot too!! There were a few disputes and after a while they left her alone!

My extra is not a good shot but I thought it had 'something' and even though it was blurred and distorted there was a sense of balance with the two birds taking off at once!
