Working our way North

We've had an awful journey from a very wet Buckinghamshire to one of our favourite places - Silverdale, N. Lancs. we are stopping off here briefly on our way to Edinburgh tomorrow. After a very long, slow journey up the M1 and M6 it was wonderful to have a short walk to check out our favourite dead tree near the shore of Hawes Water. As the light was fading something magical was happening as patterns in the sky seemed to be being created by the tentacle branches of the tree!
