DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

The need for extra food these last days before they migrate south has caused many daily confrontations between the hummingbirds at the feeders.  Evidently the males have already begun their migration so the battles are  just between the females and/or the juveniles.  In this shot, the one in flight had been sitting where the other bird now sits, just a second before being dive-bombed by the now-seated hummer. 

(This shot isn't quite as grainy as my last attempt, so it's good to know I've improved a bit with the settings.  Onward and upward!)
