Back in Blighty now and all my photos uploaded in a wizz! So, a few days of back blipping.

We woke to brilliant sunshine on our first full day in Paris (Friday). Although this is our fourth visit to Paris there is still lots we want to do/see that we haven't managed before. We started with a boat trip on the Seine, enjoying the sunshine, the views and watching the Chinese take millions of selfies ;-))
Off the boat we stopped for coffee, nothing like watching the world go by, before heading to Notre Dame. Mr C enjoys visiting churches/cathedrals and this is one we haven't been into before. It was far too busy for Mr C to fully enjoy the surroundings.

It hit 30 degrees during the day and by late afternoon we went back to the hotel for a little rest before venturing out for the evening.

We headed back to the Latin Quarter, walking through Rue Mouffetard and the little streets and squares off it. A wonderful, lively place, full of characters. We passed one bar where at least 10 people were smoking hookahs and some playing backgammon..... I wish I was brave enough to take a photo! We stopped for supper at a French alpine type restaurant serving tarteflette, racalette and fondues...all things cheesy. I had a fondue, the wine content was pretty strong and Mr C had a platter. We had an evening stroll down by the river before heading back.

I have added a few extras... the front of a camera shop very close to our hotel....saw this and thought of all you lovely blippers!! It looks like it is seldom open although I noticed the shutters down the next day. Notre Dame day and night, Rue Mouffetard and painted advert. Nothing special about street view but I did like the evening sunshine on the top of the buildings.
