Summer Tree

Back blip on a grey day.

This was taken the other weekend when I was visiting my parents back in Yorkshire.

I borrowed my old mountain bike and went for a ride in the summer sunshine, and I ended up clocking up about 12 miles, most of which seemed easy going. The hardest part seemed to be on a big steep downhill section where I ended up pedaling downhill, and seemed to be going slower than somebody cycling uphill.

This wonderfully isolated tree has featured in my journal a couple of times and it was nice to see it on a wonderful summers morning with a ripe crop of wheat.
