Who ... Me, No it Wasn't Me!

Sylvester had been playing in the dirt and brought a lot inside with him. He just loves playing in the newly dug ground. It is so funny to watch him as you would think he was playing football. He lifts up clods of dirt and somehow throws them in the air then runs and jumps on them before taking of around the garden then starts all over again. By the time I get the camera his stops. Would love to get a shot of him in the air.

I got some sad news this morning my cousin rang to say one of her sisters had passed away, suddenly. It was very up setting for her as it was so unexpected. Living down the bottom of the South Island I hadn't see her for a while. A neighbour has alerted the police and they found she had had a fall. But at this stage it is unknown how she passed away.

Death of a Loved One

A death in the family leaves a void that cannot be filled. No one can ever take the place of this individual in the world. We should not try to comfort the family by saying that "it was his time anyway", or, "he was suffering". These may be words of comfort later. However, there must be time to mourn the fact that things will never be the same. One minute he was here and now he is gone. The human mind must be allowed to sit with this reality. Mourning is a necessary part of the human experience. If it is ignored, a general feeling of sadness may pervade the whole family.
