Chamonix UTMB

The Ultra Trail Mont Blanc race started today in Chamonix - 170km race with 10,000m of ascent. 2,300 runners set off from the square in town at 6pm tonight. The first racers back are due about 2pm tomorrow. Yikes!!!
We just cheered them on from the side! And then went and ate a huge tasty dinner and drank lots of booze!!!
I will think of them as I snuggle up in my comfy bed tonight.
Nice to catch up with a friend C this evening - a good laugh had at the bar.
