Learning day by day

Steam Train

Well it was wet this morning, but after breakfast the kids both sat and read for about an hour (yes Will too!). We then went to the museum at Sheringham, which was small but interesting and the kind lady  on the entrance insisted Will looked about four rather than the "nearly six" he told her and let him in for free. After the museum we stopped for coffee (or cake in their case) and then stopped at the station on the way back to the car. The intention was to eat lunch on the beach at Salthouse, but wasps chased us back to the car.

So we had a picnic in the car and the went to Cromer and spent ages on the park before heading back to the tent to cook tea and bed. Cromer Festival was finishing and fireworks kicked off at nine. Will slept through, but Carys woke in time to catch the finale.
