241/365: I'd soar to the sun

The famous jazz/gospel song by Billy Taylor and made famous my Nina Simone and then Barry Norman's Film programme on the BBC. When my family was together last weekend we all learned and played it (Bryn on piano, James and me on our ukes, mum singing and various kids clapping!) It sounded quite good in the end, surprisingly, and it's become one of my favourite things to belt out now. Along with Formby of course :)

Had a lazy day, pottering and playing music. Sometimes a lazy, pottering day is just what the doctor ordered.
