Little Drops of Snow

It's been a very industrious day, as I've been tackling a couple of big jobs with my neighbour. The Mayor of Blandswood (as we call him) is a top bloke; resourceful, enthusiastic and also in possession of a raft of earthmoving equipment, diggers, chainsaws etc etc.

All of which came in very useful today as we got stuck in to fixing a drainage issue (thankfully all done now) as well as making a start on bringing down the oak tree in our front garden. Whilst it's a quite impressive specimen, It's a tree which is really out of place amongst the podocarps, ferns and broadleaf native trees on our section in the middle of a scenic reserve. It's a big job, and whilst we've not yet won the war, our battle today was victorious. But like any big campaign, we're going to need some reinforcements...

So after a tiring afternoon (and one in which the drizzle closed in as the day progressed) I've had to resort to photographing these little snowdrops in the garden.
