Rain drops

Its been a rather grey drizzly rainy sort of day.

Not sure what this is. The flower looks like rata but the plant (actually quite a big tree in the grounds of our apartment) doesn't look like rata. And I'm sure its not a pohutukawa. Seems too early for either of those to be flowering now anyway. Any experts out there?

The tuis love the nectar though. Lovely to see and hear them but no way was I going to get a shot on the phone (even with a DSLR would be difficult). But I did manage to get a tui feeding on cherry blossom later - a dreadful shot really, in extras. At least you can see it is a tui from the neck feathers. Also raindrops on a leaf.
